Our Story
What we do
S&L Ventures (formerly Seaweedlink) complete the value chain in agriculture and aquaculture through our extensive network spanning over 20 countries. Our network includes farms, businesses, academia, policymakers, and other key stakeholders. Our ultimate goal is to sustainably enhance the economic value of the entire value chain.
How we do
We facilitate trade between East and West, support cross-cultural communication, and share knowledge and experiences in agriculture and aquaculture—all through our community, Pampin.
Aquaculture project
: Seaweed
You might have heard of us as SeaweedLink. As the project name suggests, we connect people and businesses across the seaweed industry, from seaweed farmers, processors, and distributors to innovative companies using seaweed and policymakers shaping the sector.
Why did we start?
Although around 97 percent of global seaweed production comes from Asia, there is limited communication and exchange with regions outside Asia. We saw a strong need to transfer knowledge and experience from Asia to non Asian markets, while also bringing new perspectives, capabilities, and approaches from non Asian regions back to Asia.
This journey has allowed us to dive deep into the community and listen directly to stakeholders across the market. These insights inspired us to launch PamPin.
Agriculture project:
Greenhouse
Agriculture, especially greenhouse production, offers access to a wide range of markets, as it has become a key solution for countries and regions to produce crops without being constrained by climate conditions. However, even when a country is highly advanced in greenhouse technology, the same approach does not necessarily work in another country or region.
Through this project, we support the industry in developing and completing greenhouse technologies that are adapted to local conditions, needs, and capacities.
